‘Yuvaon Ki UP’ campaign’s 22 questions will hold the government accountable: Rajat Yadav

Anupam, National President of ‘Yuva Halla Bol’, the movement that has been instrumental in making unemployment a national debate, has declared that it will be the unemployed youth that will determine the results in the UP elections. He said this at the event announcing the ‘Yuvaon Ki UP’ campaign in Lucknow. Govind Mishra, the working president of ‘Yuva Halla Bol’ Prashant kamal, the National General Secretary and Rajat Yadav, the state in-charge were also present on the occasion. The leaders released a document with 22 questions on the issues of Padhai, Kamai and Dawai for 2022. They also shared their upcoming roadmap about how they would take these to the people of the state. In the first phase, the team will visit all the districts in the state and in the second phase, it will organize Yuva Mahapanchayats.

Addressing the press, Anupam said that the Yogi Adityanath government of UP has only cheated the youth in the name of employment. The government, which came to power with big promises, has now become known for job cuts, corruption, delays in recruitment and paper leaks in examinations. To add insult to injury, the government has resorted to beating up the youth mercilessly when they seek employment. We come across images of police brutality from Lucknow every day. It is ironic how while the unemployed youth endures lathicharge on the streets, the government continues to make false claims using public money.

Govind Mishra, the working president of ‘Yuva Halla Bol’ said that the BJP government of Uttar Pradesh has completely failed to address the issues of the state’s youth and is just trying to mislead with false propaganda. The educated unemployed youth has tried everything to seek government’s attention. Besides appeals and peaceful dharnas, the youth has also faced slander and endured beating, but the government has shown no sympathy for their legitimate issues. The youth now has decided that electoral injuries can only bring this government to its senses. Our 22 questions for 2022 will illustrate why UP is in a bad state today.

State in-charge and general secretary of ‘Yuva Halla Bol’, Rajat Yadav said that under Anupam’s leadership, the team will be travelling to all districts to establish the agenda of youth. Yuva Mahapanchayats will be organized from January 12 after a state-wide yatra in the first phase. Rajat said that the time has come for the youth of the state to unite and set the agenda in the elections, otherwise apathetic governments would continue to play with our future.
